Job Description

Due to an increasing project pipeline, our ‘Renewables, Generation & Advisory’ team in Sydney have created an opportunity for a Principal Electrical Engineer.  The role would be especially perfect for someone with experience in Wind Energy.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be actively involved in an innovative and highly motivated team of energy professionals and be instrumental in delivering landmark projects throughout Australia and New Zealand.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer within the team, you will:

  • Actively participate in and contribute to the winning, management, and delivery of moderate to large-scale projects whilst enhancing client and working relationships.
  • You will also inspire and support the development and training of leading-edge technical skills and understand how to practically apply them in ways that add value to AECOM and its clients.
  • Provide specialised technical input to studies and design for your area of expertise.
  • Mentor junior engineers to enhance AECOM’s reputation in the Energy Market.

Qualifications

As a Principal Engineer within our Energy Team, you will possess some of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, or equivalent
  • Experience in delivering Power Generation designs
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and industry guidelines
