Principal Mobile iOS Developer

The Confluence Mobile Editor team is looking for a Principal iOS engineer to help lead the development of performant, reliable, easy to use components for mobile users of Confluence. You will have the opportunity to work with and influence the technical direction our team of talented mobile developers. You will collaborate with other mobile teams, Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend developers, and platform teams to build great user experiences for the Confluence Mobile app.The position can be for a Sydney based office, or remote within a suitable timezone.

What we expect:

• Mastery of Swift programming and iOS development. Familiarity with React Native, and exposure to web frontend tech stacks, such as React would be a bonus.
• A self-starter and effortless communicator who cares more about solving problems than being right
• Extensive experience crafting and implementing well-tested, well-architected, and performant iOS applications
• Passion for creating and enhancing products to deliver the best experiences for our customers
• A strong commitment and affinity for a positive and nurturing team culture
• Build efficient and reusable mobile components and reliable, performant mobile solutions
• You have an eye for design and user experience - you love delighting users with a focus on the details

You'll collaborate with talented mobile engineers working across both iOS native and React Native technologies, as well as partner closely with our web Editor's front-end and backend teams.
