Role Summary:
We’re now building something big: a new GenAI fintech product that’s early-stage, high-potential, and backed by fresh funding from Canada’s AI supercluster. We’re looking for a product manager who’s ready to lead the charge. This is a hands-on, strategic role that will own the product vision, roadmap, and development — working closely with engineers and data scientists to drive the product from prototype to commercialization. Blanc Labs has a track record of spinning out ventures — offering the right person a rare opportunity to be at the helm of a product that could become its own company, with long-term ownership potential.
Responsibilities
- Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with company goals
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and data science deliver a high-impact GenAI product
- Validate ideas and features through user research, data, and market insights
- Translate complex needs into clear product requirements and deliverables
- Navigate ambiguity, iterate fast, and prioritize effectively
- Own the go-to-market strategy and support early customer adoption
- Be the voice of the product — internally and externally — as it evolves toward potential spin-out

What you bring?
- 4+ years of experience in product management, ideally in fintech, AI/ML, or SaaS startups
- A track record of shipping 0→1 products and thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
- Strategic product thinking with a bias toward action and outcomes
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and ambiguous environment
- Strong technical fluency; able to work closely with engineers and data scientists
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
- Passion for building meaningful products from scratch — with an entrepreneurial mindset
Nice to Haves
- Experience with generative AI products and technologies
- Familiarity with financial services, lending, or banking
- Management consulting experience is big plus
