More about our mission and what we offer.

Job Description

Salary Range: 210,000 - 270,000 AUD per annum + RSUs + Super

What You’ll Do

  • Find your customers. Build an analytical, data-driven idea of what customers really want and iterate on it quickly. Do not just stop at what you think their users want - build what they actually will love to use. Dig into the data, run research, work with our design, engineering, data teams and more to really understand what the next big thing we’re going to build is.

  • Build it for your users. With product sense, conviction, and a lot of supporting data, expand or add on top of Wise’s award-winning app, website and APIs to deliver intuitive and groundbreaking experiences to customers

  • Make your product sustainable. Understand what value it provides to the user and price it in a fair way that allows you to operate it at the level of quality your users deserve, while running it sustainably for the years to com

  • Find your people. Build a large network inside the company that will let you get insights, ideas, critiques and help to ship world-class experiences within your team and with other teams.

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in building consumer-facing products in Australia and New Zealand, or a strong affinity with high-growth products that delight users and would be recognised as category-defining. It does not need to be fintech or digital products: any experience in shipping things that customers love, is a must for this role.

  • A clear vision of what led to successes or failures in your career. Products can be successful or not, what matters is what you learn from them

  • Analytical mindset: we don’t care about your academic background, but we deeply value the ability to use data to make informed decisions in highly ambiguous, fast-moving contexts. You will have plenty of analytics and experienced product support at your disposal, but you must be able to back your convictions and ideas with hard data to be able to run large-scale bets at Wise.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in a fintech or high growth finance-related company

  • A background in statistics/data analysis, or user research, or design/product design

  • SQL, Python, R or any data analysis software experience beyond Excel.
