Are you our next Principal Product Manager?

Are you our next Principal Product Manager?

As a Principal Product Manager at Tracksuit, you'll own product adoption and activation for our core product. This is one of the highest-leverage product areas in the business: how customers get into the product, experience its value, and build the habits that turn them into long-term advocates. You'll set the strategy, shape the roadmap, and be accountable for moving the metrics that underpin retention and commercial growth.

This is a role for an experienced product practitioner. You've grown products before, you know what it takes to shift activation curves, and you bring a rigorous, experimentation-led approach to the work.

Commercial thinking is central. You connect product decisions to revenue and customer value. You make deliberate bets about where the team should invest. You use data and customer insights to drive decisions, not just to report on them, and you hold a high bar for the quality of evidence behind your product decisions.

Beyond your own product area, you'll play a leadership role across the broader Product function. You'll mentor other PMs, shape how we do product at Tracksuit, and bring perspective to strategic decisions that cut across teams. This is a role with influence well beyond a single squad, suited to someone who operates with high agency, moves fluidly between strategic and tactical work, and takes genuine ownership of the problems they're given.

    What You'll Own

  • Define and drive the product strategy for adoption and activation, making the bets that determine how customers experience value in our core product
  • Drive a focused product team of engineers, data scientists, and domain experts toward the highest-value work
  • Work across the full product lifecycle, from discovery through build, launch, iteration, and scaling
  • Build and manage external partnerships where needed, including third-party vendors and industry partners that unlock scale
  • Raise the bar across the Product function through mentorship, shaping product practices, and contributing perspective to decisions beyond your own domain

Key Problems & Outcomes You’ll Drive

  • Adoption and Activation: Move the metrics that determine whether customers experience value early and build lasting habits in the product
  • Commercial Growth: Deliver work that is directly tied to Tracksuit's ability to grow, connecting product decisions to revenue, retention, and unit economics
  • Experimentation Velocity: Build and scale a rigorous, experimentation-led approach to testing assumptions and learning quickly from what ships
  • Product Craft at Tracksuit: Raise the standard of how product is practised across the function, not just within your own team

That’s the role — so who are you?

    Must-Haves

  • Significant product management experience: Experience across different stages of product maturity from early-stage through to scaling
  • Track record of growing products: You've owned adoption or activation outcomes before and moved the metrics that matter
  • Commercial thinking: You naturally connect product decisions to business outcomes and growth levers
  • Data and experimentation fluency: You use data and customer insights to make decisions, design experiments, and measure impact, not just to report on them
  • Strategy in ambiguity: You can shape a clear product strategy when the path forward isn't obvious
  • Influence and stakeholder management: You align people across teams and levels without relying on authority, and can operate at the leadership level and with individual contributors equally
  • Bonus Points

  • Experience leading adoption, activation, or growth product areas in SaaS
  • Built and scaled experimentation frameworks, including the tooling and rituals around them
  • Experience navigating complex problem spaces that involve external partners, vendors, or cross-functional coordination
  • Track record of mentoring and develoing other product managers
  • Your Working Style

  • Ownership end to end: You own the whole problem, from strategy through execution, and you're willing to get your hands dirty
  • Scoping and prioritisation: You keep work tightly aligned to the problem space and resist scope creep
  • Problem decomposition: You take a complex, messy situation and break it into clear, solvable pieces
  • High agency: You move comfortably between strategic and tactical work, and take genuine ownership of the problems you're given
  • Clear communication: You're a confident communicator who can shape executive narratives and work shoulder to shoulder with engineers with equal credibility
  • Raises the bar: You mentor and coach other PMs, contribute to product practices and rituals, and are someone the wider team learns from
  • This is a role with influence well beyond a single squad, at the heart of how Tracksuit's customers experience the product and how the business grows. It's ideal for a senior product leader ready to own one of our most commercially important areas and shape the practice of product across the company.
