This role is designed for an experienced systems engineer who excels at problem solving, developing fit for purpose solutions, influencing and coaching at the intersection of systems integration and software engineering.

- Guiding the testing and validating of software solutions to ensure they meet operational and functional requirements.
- Coaching others with writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and industry standards.
- Coaching others with requirements verification
- Communicating the status of complex engineering situations and deliverables
- Developing and documenting solutions through drawings, data sets, reports, specifications, and supporting data.
- Developing and updating engineering change management artifacts.
- Identifying, mitigating and manage technical risks

Candidates for this role should be able to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in complex technical development and integration projects.
- A minimum of 8 years professional experience in software development
- Excellent communication, problem solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and communicate with various stakeholders
- Extensive experience in version control systems (eg., Bitbucket, Jenkins) and engineering change management
- Strong Attention to detail when following, creating and reviewing documentation and code
- Experience in the full engineering lifecycle
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills in line with the abovementioned
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience
