We are looking for a Principal Technical Recruiter (AU Site Lead)

Compensation: $130,00 - $153,000 salary (including superannuation), + 25% bonus ($32,500 - $37,500), employee equity plan grant & world class benefits.

As a Principal Technical Recruiter at Rokt, you will lead recruitment efforts for key technical roles across the organization. This role is critical in identifying, engaging, and hiring top technical talent to meet the needs of our expanding business. You will work closely with hiring managers, engineering teams, and senior leaders to shape recruiting strategies and ensure a seamless candidate experience. In addition, this role serves as our Recruiting Site Lead in Australia, helping to develop and execute the local talent acquisition strategy while also contributing to our global strategy.

About our Engineering Team

The Rokt engineering team builds best-in-class ecommerce technology that provides personalized and relevant experiences for customers globally and empowers marketers with sophisticated, AI-driven tooling to better understand consumers. Our bespoke platform handles millions of transactions per day and considers billions of data points which give engineers the opportunity to build technology at scale, collaborate across teams and gain exposure to a wide range of technology.

About the role: 

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment processes for our Sydney team, primarily focused on technical roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring candidates across our various engineering teams. 
  • Partner with hiring managers and leadership to develop and refine job descriptions, recruitment strategies, and interview processes that attract top-tier technical talent.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams and candidates to ensure alignment on hiring goals and seamless communication throughout the recruitment process.
  • Track and analyze key recruiting metrics to ensure the effectiveness of recruiting efforts and continuously optimize for success.
  • Represent the Australian business within a larger global team based in the US, ensuring the execution of the People Team strategy aligns seamlessly with overall company objectives.

About you:

You are a proactive and strategic recruiter who thrives on taking ownership and driving talent initiatives. In this role, you will have a direct impact on scaling Rokt’s technical teams and contributing to the company’s growth in Australia and globally. You’re passionate about identifying top talent and excited by the opportunity to shape and refine Rokt’s talent acquisition strategy.

  • You’re comfortable taking on a lead role driving all aspects of hiring for Rokt in Australia. Specifically you bring years of technical recruiting experience in the Sydney market, with a focus on senior and highly technical roles (engineering, infrastructure, etc.).
  • Strong knowledge of technical concepts and the ability to evaluate technical talent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior leaders and hiring managers.
  • A data-driven mindset with experience using recruitment metrics to inform and improve processes.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a high-growth environment.
