Procurement Specialist - 12-Month Contract.

We have an exciting opportunity within our Procurement team. We are currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our Sydney team on a 12-month contract.
The purpose of this role is to provide operational support to the procurement function, ensuring efficient, compliant, and timely purchasing across the organisation.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing the approval flow for Procurement tickets through the intake system and providing updates to internal stakeholders
- Assisting in vendor onboarding, offboarding and ongoing management in systems
- Handling exceptions to invoice matching, and liaising with Finance/AP teams
- Assisting with ZIP integrations with Finance/other systems
- Assisting with commercial discussions on new engagements and renewal of contracts
- Assisting with identifying value improvements in spend categories
- Developing and maintaining solid working relationships with key stakeholders
- Data analysis and review of existing contracts and financial records for discrepancies or non-compliance with processes
What you will bring to the role:
- 4+ experience in procurement/contract administration
- Experience dealing with SaaS, Technology, IT Hardware/Software Agreements preferred.
- Contract review and reporting analysis experience.
- Experience dealing with third parties and suppliers/vendors.
- Sound knowledge of procurement and contracting principles.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally in distributed teams across multiple time zones.
- Commercial acumen and the ability to consider the commercial outcome(s) of a decision.
