We’re seeking a strategic and commercially astute Procurement Manager to join our APAC team. This is a high-impact role managing over USD 100 million in annual spend across five countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.
Reporting to the Regional Senior Procurement Manager, you’ll lead procurement initiatives across complex categories such as logistics/transportation/3PL services, subcontractors, plant and equipment, MHE, , and CAPEX. You’ll drive value through strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and contract management, contributing directly to profitability and sustainability goals.
This role offers flexibility to work hybrid, with occasional travel to regional sites and team collaboration hubs as required.
Key responsibilities may include:
- Lead procurement initiatives across high spend, strategic categories including our extensive subcontract network, logistics and transportation services , equipment, , and CAPEX.
- Drive savings, supplier performance, and contract compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.
- Support sustainability and our globally leading decarbonisation goals.
- Leverage global procurement systems and best practices.
You’re a procurement professional with:
- An appetite to change the status quo
- 5+ years’ experience in procurement management. Logistics experience is preferred.
- Proven success in greenfield or transformational procurement projects. You’ll be shaping the commercial approach to these new categories.
- Experience in either creating, leading, implementing or building on existing category strategies.
- A CV that shows you can deliver tangible value, keeping stakeholders onside in the process.
- Experience with contracting, change management, and procurement systems.
- (Ideally) A tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Science (CIPS desirable).
