We employ approximately 13,000 people and operate in 60 countries. Through our pioneering and sustainable share-and-reuse business model, the world’s biggest brands trust us to help them transport their goods more efficiently, safely and with less environmental impact.

You’ll help change how goods get to market and contribute to global sustainability. You’ll be empowered to bring your authentic self to work and be surrounded by diverse and driven professionals. And you can maximize your work-life balance and flexibility through our Hybrid Work Model.

Job Description

  • Global ASX 50 listed market leader in sustainability, supply chain and logistics
  • Lead the development of indirect procurement strategy across ANZ
  • Supportive and inclusive culture | Flexible hybrid work environment

Greenfield opportunity to help shape the future of procurement in a global organisation.

About the Job

This is a pivotal role in our ANZ Finance team, responsible for leading indirect procurement across Australia and New Zealand. Reporting to the Director, Indirects AMETA (Asia Pacific, Middle East, Turkiye and Africa), you’ll be the driving force behind the development and execution of category strategies that deliver value, improve supplier relationships, and support Brambles’ broader growth and sustainability goals.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business to build a strong identity for indirect procurement, challenge the status quo, and implement innovative sourcing strategies that go beyond cost savings to deliver long-term impact.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement indirect category sourcing strategies across ANZ
  • Deliver annual savings targets and track actualised savings
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
  • Lead supplier negotiations and manage contract lifecycle
  • Champion strategic sourcing and drive process improvement
  • Support Indigenous and local supplier development initiatives
  • Represent ANZ in global procurement forums and share market intelligence

We value innovation, collaboration, and curiosity, and we are looking for someone who shares these values and can successfully manage the procurement strategy across ANZ

What will ensure your success:

  • Extensive experience in procurement, more recently in a leadership role
  • Strong background in category management and strategic sourcing
  • Proven ability to influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience negotiating complex supplier agreements
  • Commercial acumen and project management expertise
  • A collaborative, hands-on approach and a passion for driving change
  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Procurement (CIPS desirable)

If you're looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity with an innovative company where you are empowered to make a difference, we want to hear from you!
