What this opportunity involves:

We are currently seeking a Procurement Manager to join our Sourcing and Procurement team for one of our prestigious technology company. This role offers the opportunity to lead strategic procurement initiatives across three major regions (APAC, EMEA and AMER) while driving exceptional vendor management and compliance standards.

As a trusted advisor to both the Client and JLL leadership, you will oversee a comprehensive procurement portfolio including strategic sourcing, vendor performance and contract governance and compliance oversight.

Reporting to the Head of Sourcing, the role will be managing both direct and indirect reports across the regions. You will be based on-site in Sydney CBD and have access to top-notch amenities and benefits.

Please note that this is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of an extension or conversion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual Procurement Strategy and category plans for high-value categories across all regions, aligned with Atlassian's OKRs and budget frameworks
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including market analysis, supplier negotiations, tendering processes, and contract negotiations to deliver optimal outcomes
  • Oversee vendor performance management programs including quarterly scorecards, KPI tracking, and strategic supplier review meetings with regional teams
  • Manage contract governance through centralized visibility of supplier contracts, compliance monitoring, and resolution of escalated vendor issues
  • Direct compliance oversight activities including annual vendor audits, insurance renewals, modern slavery reporting, and adherence to governance frameworks
  • Implement process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance procurement reporting accuracy and operational efficiency across global systems
  • Maintain strategic stakeholder relationships with Atlassian representatives and JLL leadership, providing regular performance updates and risk mitigation plans
  • Lead and develop procurement teams across multiple regions while ensuring consistent vendor governance and compliance reporting standards

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management or equivalent professional qualification (CIPS or equivalent)
  • At least 8 years of strategic procurement, sourcing contract management, and vendor governance experience
  • Extensive global sourcing experience with proven ability to deliver complex procurement projects within Integrated Facilities Management categories
  • Advanced contract negotiation skills with demonstrated track record of driving favorable outcomes in strategic supply arrangements
  • High proficiency in procurement systems such as Jaggaer, Aravo, and Corrigo, with strong data governance and analytical capabilities
  • Comprehensive understanding of compliance standards including insurance verification, licensing, background checks, and modern slavery requirements
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement abilities with proven capacity to influence senior-level executives across client and vendor organizations
  • Multi-region leadership experience managing procurement programs across APAC, EMEA, and AMER with cultural sensitivity and regional awareness
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally for regional and vendor meetings (minimal)
