Job Description

As our Procurement Manager, you will lead the establishment and evolution of Healthcare Australia’s enterprise-wide procurement function, shaping strategy, governance, supplier management, and commercial outcomes across the business.

This is a genuine greenfield opportunity suited to a commercially astute procurement leader who has either built a procurement function from the ground up or has the capability and vision to do so. You will play a key role in creating structure, driving consistency, and embedding best-practice procurement frameworks across the organisation, while building and leading a procurement team as the function matures.

You will lead procurement strategy, governance, sourcing, supplier management, and contract management across indirect spend categories, driving commercial value, improving compliance, and reducing off-contract spend. The role will also focus on developing supplier relationships, establishing procurement standards and processes, and building capability within the function over time.

This is a full-time ongoing position based in Melbourne or Adelaide.

Let’s talk about you

You are an experienced procurement leader with a strong background across indirect or corporate services categories within complex organisations. You bring expertise across procurement transformation, sourcing, contract management, supplier governance, and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence change and deliver commercial outcomes. Experience establishing or transforming a procurement function, along with previous people leadership or the capability to build and lead a team, will be highly regarded.
