Job Description

As a Product Analyst, you’ll join our Group Life and Retirement team, helping us develop and manage products that matter to our TAL Corporate clients. You’ll use your analytical skills and business knowledge to keep our product range sharp, supporting everything from new client setups to improving and retaining existing partnerships.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to TAL’s continued leadership in Group Life, leveraging your curiosity and ambition to drive positive change and deliver impact at scale.

In this role you will: 

  • Support product management plans/strategies that are in place for a product portfolio to ensure profitability
  • Update and process corporate and employer plans updates and new business wins
  • Support Corporate onboarding to ensure smooth policy renewals and onboarding
  • Support the development and maintenance of up-to-date product documentation for Group Life and Group Salary Continuance
  • Support policy drafting, signoff, and execution
  • Provide support and analysis for projects, as required
  • Support the creation of marketing/technical material

Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, commerce, business or a related field
  • Knowledge of the life insurance Industry, with experience in interpreting, reviewing and devising detailed terms and conditions
  • Understanding of pricing methodologies
  • Outstanding analytical skills
  • Knowledge of compliance and other legislative requirements
  • Skilled at writing technical documentation with in-depth knowledge of MS Office suite
