Product Design Lead

What you’ll love about this role…

• Own the design vision: Set and execute the overarching design strategy, ensuring every touchpoint aligns with THE ICONIC’s brand and customer experience goals.
• Lead the journey: Define and drive UX and Product Design across discovery, engagement, checkout, and post-purchase for web and app.
• Champion our design system: Evolve and maintain a scalable, consistent, and brand-aligned design system across all platforms.
• Uplift design quality: Maintain and raise the bar for usability, accessibility, and conversion-optimised design.
• Inspire and mentor: Lead, coach, and develop a talented team of Product Designers, fostering a culture of design excellence and experimentation.
• Collaborate for impact: Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Insights, and Customer Service to deliver unified, customer-first experiences.
• Drive business outcomes: Use evidence-based UX insights and user research to influence product strategy, prioritisation, and customer perception. 

What you’ll  bring to the role…

• Deep expertise in Product Design, UX, and mobile-first responsive design at scale.
• Proven leadership and mentoring skills, with a track record of growing and uplifting design teams.
• Experience collaborating across design, product, engineering, and brand functions.
• Strategic thinking with a sharp eye for implementation detail—balancing short-term wins with long-term vision.
• Strong capabilities in UX research, journey mapping, prototyping, experimentation, and A/B testing.
• A passion for customer outcomes and a clear point of view on design’s role in business success.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to champion the value of design across the business.
