We're on the hunt for an experienced Product Designer to join our Wealth Management product team in Melbourne or Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end design projects, bring human-centred design to life, and play a vital role in advancing our design system. If you're eager to grow, collaborate, and leave your mark on a global fintech brand, this role could be your next big move.

Some of the amazing things you’ll be involved in:

  • Leading the full design lifecycle — from discovery and ideation to prototyping, usability testing, and final UI execution

  • Collaborating with product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to define problems, explore opportunities, and craft elegant solutions

  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative user research and integrating findings into your design work

  • Contributing to the evolution of the Iress Design System (IDS) with scalable, accessible, and consistent UI patterns

  • Designing experiences that balance user needs with business objectives — all grounded in accessibility and usability best practices

  • Championing a culture of design excellence through design reviews, workshops, and constructive feedback loops

  • Staying at the forefront of industry trends and bringing innovative ideas to the team

What you will bring:

  • 5+ years of product design experience in fast-paced, agile environments

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your process across research, wireframes, prototypes, and final design

  • Expertise in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, UXPin, Miro, and other modern design tools

  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineers and product stakeholders

  • A growth mindset and passion for continuous improvement and experimentation

  • Exceptional communication skills — able to clearly articulate design concepts to diverse audiences

  • Confidence in facilitating workshops, presenting to executives, and driving design-led conversations

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, design systems, and accessibility principles

  • Curiosity, humility, and a collaborative spirit — you thrive when creating with others

Why work with us?

  • 8 additional paid days per year to extend your weekends

  • Hybrid working

  • Generous cash bonus for every successful referral

  • Starting school leave - 8.5 days of leave to assist your children with the transition to school

  • Up to 26 weeks’ paid parental leave for primary carers (up to 4 weeks for secondary carers), and the ability to work part-time when returning to work

  • 3 days’ paid leave per year to participate in charity initiatives

  • Discounted health insurance premiums

  • Access to learning and development programs through LinkedIn Learning
