This role ensures the effectiveness of industry testing phases, balancing customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives to support the project’s strategic outcomes. The role acts as a bridge between internal delivery teams and external industry participants, ensuring that industry testing is robust, transparent, and aligned with market expectations.

Your responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for CHESS Project industry test enablers, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and industry needs.

  • Providing leadership to Product Owners, Product Managers and Business Analysts to ensure industry test requirements are delivered.

  • Support the Customer Readiness Delivery Manager and Stakeholder Engagement team in external engagement for industry test enablers, including working groups and bilateral discussions, to represent industry requirements and communicate updates.

  • Support delivery and test teams to ensure customer-facing defects are correctly tagged and have appropriate acceptance criteria for industry needs.

  • Collaborate with business and delivery stakeholders to define success criteria, track performance, and deliver continuous improvement.

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and accountability.

Your experience and qualifications:

Must have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner/Manager or equivalent role in an agile environment on a large-scale project.

  • Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams, with a focus on industry testing or large-scale product delivery.

  • Familiarity with ASX customers, products, and services.

  • Experience in financial services or market infrastructure, with a commercial and customer-focused mindset.

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

  • Experience with industry-wide testing programs or regulatory-driven projects

We make hiring decisions based on your skills, capabilities and experience, and how you’ll help us to live our values. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet all the criteria of this role. If you need any adjustments during the application or interview process to help you present your best self, please let us know.

At ASX Group, our diverse workforce is essential to build and maintain a fair and dynamic marketplace. We support flexible working and offer hybrid working options.
