What's so exciting about this role?

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of the product portfolio across hummgroup, driving proactive portfolio optimisation, leading customer remediation, and helping deliver a customer‑led roadmap that creates outstanding customer experiences. As a Product Lead, you’ll be the strongest customer advocate, bringing deep passion and expertise to building products customers genuinely love.

What Does An Average Day Look Like?

No day is average at humm but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role:

• Lead a company wide transformation (full product and technology stack strategy) and relaunch international businesses of nationally loved brands
• Redefine agile & product discovery with the latest AI tools
• Lead cross functional delivery teams across mobile, digital channels, merchant platforms, and credit systems, driving high‑quality product outcomes.
• Own portfolio management, product roadmap development and delivery for both existing and transformation products, prioritising initiatives by customer and business impact.
• Act as the voice of the customer by deeply understanding customer needs, improving retention, and resolving pain points through a customer‑led roadmap.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive the digital channels strategy, build strong alignment, and create buy‑in for the product vision.
• Ensure products and delivery remain compliant in a highly regulated environment, including leading customer remediation and incident management.
• Champion modern ways of working, acting as an agile/SAFe thought leader, while driving continuous improvement, growth opportunities, and market competitiveness.

Who will thrive in this role?

• A senior product leader with deep experience in financial services (personal loans or credit cards preferably), combining strong commercial acumen with a customer first mindset to drive sustainable, profitable growth.
• Proven at setting and executing product strategy, with a strong track record of owning complex product portfolios end‑to‑end within regulated environments.
• Highly credible and influential, able to engage, challenge and align senior stakeholders, executives and partners around a clear product vision and priorities.
• Comfortable operating at both strategic and operational levels - shaping long‑term direction while remaining hands‑on to solve problems and deliver outcomes.
• Data‑driven, analytical and inquisitive, using insight to make sound decisions, prioritise effectively, and continuously improve customer and business outcomes.
• An empowering leader and collaborator who builds high‑performing, cross‑functional teams and champions modern product and agile ways of working.
