We have an opportunity for you to join Samsung Electronics Australia to make a difference as our Product Manager Assistant in the Display & Memory team.
In this role, you will support the team with developing and growing the Memory and LCD portfolio by identifying market opportunities for growth and assisting in promotional execution.

Role and Responsibilities

Market Analysis

  • Identify market opportunities/trends for growth across channel/retail/B2B segments.

  • Perform in-depth analysis in market landscapes for cross-category marketing opportunities.

  • Identify gaps/problems in the market and proactively provide solutions.

Reporting, Planning & Execution

  • Develop, maintain and present weekly supply chain management (SCM) reports to internal stakeholders.

  • Assist with planning and execution of market wide promotions across all customer landscapes.

  • Assist in project planning, execution and pricing management.

  • Proactively manage customer inventory in-line with sell-in/sell-through/sell-out performance.

  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key internal stakeholders across service, accounts, sales, marketing and management.

  • Attend relevant industry events and product planning customer meetings.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Product/Category support experience

  • Experience in market data analysis and ability to analyse large datasets (proficiency in Excel)

  • Experience in Consumer Electronics preferred, however not compulsory

  • Experience and understanding of distribution / reseller channel preferred

  • Experience in sales of gaming ecosystems components preferred

  • Have an understanding of PC ecosystems

  • Ability to adapt to market and strategic changes

  • Ability to learn and navigate new processes

  • Self-motivated, willing to make a difference

  • Team player with solid collaboration skills

  • If you have an interest or passion in the gaming/PC industry, it will be a bonus
