The Everyday Business Banking (EBB) team supports the full spectrum of customers’ needs from the smallest businesses to the largest corporates. We have accountability for Deposit and Transaction Product and Portfolio Management, Cash Channel Strategy, Merchant Solutions, Business Customer Onboarding, Customer lifecycle Management, and Business Customer Propositions.
 

You will join the EBB Deposit and Transactions Crew which is accountable for:

  • Deposit and Transactions product and portfolio management.
  • Product acquisition, in-life maintenance, and customer experience optimisation.
  • Product development and digitisation.
  • Cash and cheque strategy for Business and Institutional customers.

Do Work That Matters

As a Product Manager for Cards Modernisation, you will be a squad member dedicated to our transformation agenda and delivering our future platform for Business Debit Cards. You will leverage your cards industry knowledge, thought leadership, and strategic mindset to deliver a new Cards platform, migration and process simplification of Business Debit Cards, and feature enhancements to optimise the customer experience.

You will be the voice of the Business Bank, on a Group-wide Program to drive the program vision, objectives, and roadmap for our Business debit card core processes.

More specifically you will:

  • Form part of a squad to enable multi-year transformational change, including delivery of the Business Debit Card platform of the future.
  • Act as the voice of the Business Bank and translate business requirements for the Group-Wide program. You are not afraid to dive into the detail.
  • Maintain and prioritise the backlog to deliver on business and customer outcomes.
  • Be accountable for identifying impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations.
  • Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed.
  • Manage the squad’s performance to defined goals, including OKR (objective and key result) tracking.
  • Ensure robust operational risk management.

Help us deliver a better future for Everyday Business Banking:

  • Undergraduate and post-graduate degree in business, marketing, engineering, data decisioning or similar qualifications.
  • Payment and/or Cards Product Management experience.
  • Deep domain knowledge in the cards value chain.
  • Experience on card migration projects is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience working across end-to-end Agile projects and technical delivery.
  • Influential and confident stakeholder management skills as this role will see you working across risk, product, digital, technology and compliance business partners.
  • Experience in working within a highly complex operational environment.
  • A risk management mindset
  • The ability and enthusiasm to act as a ‘change leader' in supporting transformational change.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication.
