Job Description

The Commercial Platform team aims to create seamless, unified experiences across Nine’s commercial and broadcast operations teams.

As Product Manager within Commercial Platforms, you will translate strategic vision into tangible product features, ensuring the successful delivery of solutions that empower our sales, ad fulfillment, and finance teams. You will play a critical part in shaping the future of Nine's commercial ecosystem by providing valuable input into the broader Order and Traffic Management System (OTMS) strategy.

What you'll do
  • Lead feature delivery across Nine's commercial platforms, guiding work from initial requirements gathering to launch and post-launch optimisation.
  • Facilitate agile development cycles, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across sales, ad ops, finance, and business development to deeply understand their challenges and evolving needs.
  • Contribute thoughtful insights to the commercial platforms roadmap, helping balance priorities and support consistent delivery flow.
  • Help shape the broader strategy for Nine's Order and Traffic Management System (OTMS) by sharing user feedback, market trends, and delivery insights.
  • Define clear, actionable product requirements, maintain a well-organised backlog, and lead backlog refinement sessions.
  • Track product performance post-launch, using data and key metrics to guide continuous, meaningful improvements.
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for project updates, maintaining open, transparent, and consistent communication across teams.

What you'll bring
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a Product Manager role, with a proven track record of delivering software products.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex product backlogs, support agile execution, and bring features to market effectively.
  • Experience working with commercial systems such as Order Management Systems (OMS), CRM, Ad Serving Platforms, Yield Optimisation tools, or similar B2B enterprise software.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate higher-level business goals into practical, actionable product initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies, including APIs, data models, and system integrations.
  • A data-driven approach to decision-making, using analytical skills to identify issues, propose solutions, and measure impact.
  • A true team player who excels at fostering collaboration within cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales, operations).
  • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
