We provide our banking clients with a cloud-native infrastructure to host and manage their customers. We offer a comprehensive suite of banking products, together with all operational services needed to run a bank efficiently.

Constantinople’s state-of-the-art platform eliminates the need for expensive infrastructure, and replaces manual operational and compliance processes with automation at scale. By removing the operational complexity of banking, Constantinople enables its clients to focus on its customers and the business of banking.

The Role

The Product Management team is accountable for the end to end performance of the Constantinople product suite ensuring it meets its customer goals, legal and regulatory obligations and operational targets. The Product Manager (Credit and Debit Cards) will work closely with a cross-functional team across Software Engineering, Solution Engineering, Product Design and more, to ensure successful delivery of our card product roadmap. You will contribute to defining the vision and strategy and growing key strategic areas of the cards product suite, with a particular focus on problem-solving and driving tangible outcomes.

What You’ll Do

  • Define the comprehensive strategy for both our debit and credit card products, aligning with business objectives and evolving market needs
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive movements, and emerging technologies in the payments space to inform product decisions
  • Collaborate with banking partners, payment networks, and technology providers to develop a compelling credit card product
  • Define detailed product requirements, working with a dedicated engineering team and our product designers to build solutions, and manage the go-to-market strategy
  • Facilitate technical discussions on payment processing architecture, including tokenisation, 3DS implementation, and payment gateway integrations
  • Translate complex technical concepts to stakeholders across the business
  • Work closely with our legal, risk, and compliance teams to ensure the credit card solution meets Australian financial regulations
  • Assess the competitive and market landscape to inform decision-making
  • Determine, develop, measure, and analyse metrics to drive insights, inform the roadmap and iterate toward the best outcomes
  • Explore opportunities to leverage AI and machine learning to enhance card product capabilities, including fraud detection, personalisation, and operational efficiency
  • Manage relationships with key partners and service providers in the card ecosystem

Who You Are

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a cards Product Manager, with experience in both debit and credit card products
  • Direct experience with building a credit card solution is highly valued, rather than just managing an in-market product
  • Strong technical background with deep understanding of payment processing systems, card scheme requirements, and the technical infrastructure supporting card transactions
  • Experience in designing and implementing fraud and financial crime controls for card products
  • A bias towards action, problem-solving mindset, and willingness to work on whatever it takes to solve complex challenges and delight users
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly understand technical details and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders
  • Proven track record of driving alignment across a broad set of stakeholders, including technical teams, business partners, and external vendors
  • Exceptional ability to cut through ambiguity to produce strategic insights and identify opportunities
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for card products in the Australian market
  • Startup experience is valued highly
