The Role
We are seeking an experienced Finance Operations Manager to lead a finance team, to manage all our finance and reporting capabilities. Your team will be responsible for all finance activities from product development to reporting, journals and reconciliations. This is an opportunity to design and run a world class multi-bank finance solution, from the ground up.
What You'll Do
- Own the CXNPL and client bank GL integrations
- Work with engineering to design and build financial products from scratch, including defining ledger treatment for all financial scenarios
- Act as the key authority on banking financial reporting systems, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Provide strong leadership and guidance to the Financial Data Analyst team, ensuring clarity in finance processes and reporting.
- Act as the go-to expert for all finance-related inquiries, supporting teams across the organization
- Simultaneously support the GL integration across multi banks in multiple regions
- Manage finance team responsible for all technical financial reconciliations
- Oversee development of tooling to improve depth of financial insights and optimise team efficiency
- Apply AI to support day to day operations
Who You Are
- At least 5 years of experience working in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or general ledger management within a major bank (e.g., a Big 4 bank or an established mutual bank)
- Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage, guide, and mentor teams.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and how they impact accounting and reporting.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, able to engage with technical and non-technical teams effectively.
- Experience collaborating with Product, Finance, and Regulatory teams to define reporting structures.
