This role places you at the centre of Civica’s mission to deliver exceptional, compliant, and future‑ready solutions for the disability services sector. As the NDIS Product Manager, you serve as the organisation’s domain expert in NDIS legislation, regulation, and operational requirements. You shape how compliance and scheme evolution translate into product direction, ensuring Civica’s Carelink platform remains robust, trusted, and aligned with the needs of providers and participants.
You will operate as a critical link between regulatory change, customer needs, and product execution. You will influence Civica’s roadmap, craft precise and actionable requirements, and guide engineering teams in delivering high‑quality, scalable features. Your work directly supports Civica’s vision of becoming a global GovTech champion, strengthening the digital foundations that enable providers to deliver safe, effective, and person‑centred services.

Requirements
- Demonstrated experience as a Product Manager within a modern software or product‑focused organisation.
- Extensive knowledge of the NDIS Act, NDIS Practice Standards, and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission regulatory framework.
- Proven capability to interpret disability sector legislation and government policy and translate these into actionable product requirements.
- Strong understanding of NDIS operational processes including plan management, provider registration, claiming, rostering, and participant service delivery.
- Experience creating and managing product backlogs, writing clear and detailed user stories with concise acceptance criteria.
- Ability to prioritise requirements based on customer value, business outcomes, and technical feasibility.
- Strong technical acumen with the ability to engage in architectural conversations, technical discussions, and solution considerations.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, commercial, and customer success.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, evaluate product performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Experience participating in agile delivery practices including sprint planning, stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks, manage trade‑offs, and support decision‑making across competing priorities.
- Experience monitoring regulatory changes, interpreting their product impact, and developing compliance‑aligned requirements.
- Strong problem‑solving capability with the ability to simplify complex problems into elegant product solutions.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving market conditions, customer expectations, and organisational priorities.
- Experience contributing to customer‑facing guidance, transition materials, and regulatory communications is highly advantageous.
