Are you a technically minded product leader who thrives under pressure and takes full ownership of what you build?

We’re looking for a talented Product Manager / Technical Lead to join our team at Exhibit Central. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about building, improving, and owning exhibition systems end-to-end — from concept and manufacture through to installation and real-world use on a show floor.

At Exhibit Central, we don’t just fill roles — we build teams that create extraordinary exhibition experiences. Every position here plays a critical role in delivering complex projects that perform under pressure and help our business grow. You’ll be part of a company that lives by its core values: Courage, Curiosity, Selflessness, Judgement, and Communication.

🔍 What You’ll Do

  • Own the technical and product integrity of Exhibit Central's exhibition systems, including modular frames, aluminium extrusion systems, SEG fabric graphics, accessories, and future product ranges.
  • Lead new product development from idea through to prototype, supplier engagement, testing, and market readiness.
  • Manage hardware and printing suppliers (local and international), overseeing quality, cost control, lead times, MOQs, and performance.
  • Act as the escalation point for product faults, installation issues, and compatibility problems, diagnosing root causes and implementing permanent solutions.
  • Train internal teams (Sales, Design, Production, Customer Service) and customers, and create clear technical documentation, guides, and FAQs that support consistent product use in the field.

✅ What You Bring

  • 5–10+ years of experience in the exhibition industry, with hands-on exposure to modular systems and real-world stand build conditions.
  • A background in Industrial Design, Product Design, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • Practical experience working directly with manufacturers and printers, not just producing specifications.
  • Strong understanding of aluminium extrusion systems, fabric graphics (SEG), and portable or semi-custom exhibition products.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • A calm, detail-focused, solutions-driven mindset, with sound judgement when making technical and commercial decisions.

🌟 Why Join Exhibit Central?

  • Work with a cross-border team delivering high-impact exhibition projects across Australia and internationally.
  • Be part of a values-driven organisation that prioritises accountability, clarity, and practical problem-solving.
  • Access ongoing mentoring from senior leaders and opportunities to shape products that are used in real-world, high-pressure environments.
  • Join a growing business where your technical expertise directly influences product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational success.

Ready to Apply?

Submit your CV and a short cover letter outlining how your experience aligns with this role and the exhibition systems you’ve worked on.

We are committed to equal opportunity and encourage applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, veterans, and individuals from diverse backgrounds.
