About ROLLER

ROLLER isn’t your average SaaS company. We operate globally across 30+ countries, powering millions of real-world experiences in the leisure and attractions industry. What we build doesn’t just live on a screen. It shows up in busy venues, peak weekends, and unforgettable moments for guests.

Our mission is simple but ambitious: help operators run better businesses while creating great guest experiences. That means solving complex, real-world problems across ticketing, point of sale, self-service, memberships, kiosks, and digital waivers, all at meaningful scale.

Just as importantly, it’s the people. We’re a team of 300+ smart, grounded, and passionate humans working across the globe. We care about quality, ownership, and doing work we’re proud of, without taking ourselves too seriously.

We’re growing fast, aiming high, and building something that matters. If you want to work on real problems, with real customers, alongside people who care deeply about their craft and impact, ROLLER is a great place to do it.

Why You’ll Enjoy This Role!
  • Payments, APIs and Platform in One Seat - Payments, Extensibility and Shared Services all sit with you. It’s a big remit, with plenty of room to shape it.
  • A Senior Voice, Still Hands On - Shape strategy with the Head of Product and build business cases for leadership, while staying close to your squads and the detail.
  • Close to the Money - Payments sit behind the tickets, memberships and point of sale transactions our customers rely on every day.
  • Work Across the Business - Engineering, Payments Operations, Finance, Partnerships and our exec team all have a stake in your areas, so your work reaches well beyond the product team.
Why This Role Matters

You’ll own three product areas at ROLLER: Payments, Extensibility (our APIs and integrations) and Shared Services (our internal tooling). Reporting to our Head of Product, you’ll lead multiple cross-functional squads to launch, scale and improve them for customers around the world. This role is based in Sydney or Melbourne, Australia.

🚀 Real scale and real consequences - ROLLER powered over 100 million guest experiences in 2025. When payments work, nobody notices. When they don’t, a venue can’t sell on its busiest day. That’s the standard everything you ship is held to.

🧩 Real-world complexity - Our customers operate across different markets, currencies and regulations, with a mix of payment providers and integrations. The problems are rarely textbook, and they need judgement, not just a good roadmap.

🧠 Meaningful ownership - You’ll build deep context in your problem space, shape the solution with your squads, ship it and stay close to what happens after release.

What You'll Do
  • Get close to our customers’ businesses, their pain points and the why behind their challenges
  • Own and shape the product strategy and roadmap for your areas, using qualitative and quantitative data to solve real customer problems
  • Balance competing priorities across a diverse customer base and three product areas, leading cross-functional squads to launch, iterate and scale globally
  • Write clear product documentation, including epics, user stories and acceptance criteria, so engineering, marketing and operations teams are aligned
  • Be the go-to person for your initiatives, keeping internal and external stakeholders, including Payments Operations, Finance, Partnerships and our executive team, aligned on priorities, resources and progress
  • Advocate for customers at every step and keep the focus on delivering real value
  • Set clear goals and key results for the product team and the solutions we build
  • Act as a senior voice in the tribe: shape strategy with the Head of Product, build business cases for the senior leadership team and mentor other PMs

About You

You’re passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences and thrive on solving complex problems with strategic, customer-centric solutions. With a sharp analytical mindset, you know how to interpret both qualitative and quantitative data to make informed decisions, and communicate your rationale in a way that inspires action.

  • You’re a senior Product Manager (around 6–8 years, including time owning payments or platform products) who has worked in a fast-growing software company and knows how to navigate competing priorities.
  • You bring a strong payments background, whether from a fintech, a bank, or a SaaS company with embedded payments, and understand the tech behind third-party payment integrations.
  • You’ve built platform products, such as public APIs, integrations or internal tools like billing and auth, and can go deep with engineers while balancing internal and external customer needs.
  • A self-starter with a bias for action, known for delivering impact in dynamic, fast-paced environments with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, able to break down complex challenges, adapt to shifting priorities, and drive real business outcomes.
  • A natural influencer, skilled at aligning decision-makers at all levels, without relying on authority, to move initiatives forward.
  • Detail-obsessed, ensuring your engineering team has everything they need to execute successfully.
  • A strategic thinker, able to build compelling business cases for new opportunities and effectively communicate their value across teams.
  • An exceptional communicator, both written and verbal, with a knack for building strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
  • An entrepreneurial problem-solver, unafraid to take calculated risks, experiment, and validate new product ideas.
  • A champion of innovation, fostering creative thinking, challenging the status quo, and driving groundbreaking solutions.
  • Data-driven and market-savvy, using research and insights to identify trends and shape forward-thinking product strategies.
  • Excited to grow as a senior individual contributor, leading through influence and mastery of the PM craft.

We believe AI is a career-defining inflection point. ROLLER is a fast adopter of new technology like AI, and every team member is empowered to own their learning and use the latest tools to supercharge their impact. We’re looking for candidates with the proficiency and curiosity to embrace AI and technology, not just as technical skills, but as core competencies that help us achieve big goals.
