Job Summary

The Product Operations Manager (POM) at Hapana is the strategic enabler of the product team — ensuring that strategy translates into execution and measurable success. This role is responsible for driving alignment through OKRs, embedding operational excellence, and orchestrating cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-impact outcomes. Acting as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering and customer-facing teams, the POM creates scalable systems, data-driven reporting, and streamlined workflows that empower Product Managers to focus on building the right solutions. By balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution, the POM ensures the product organisation operates with clarity, efficiency, and accountability, ultimately amplifying Hapana’s ability to innovate and grow.

Key ResponsibilitiesOKR & Success Management
  • Lead the product team’s OKR process: define, track, and report progress against objectives and key results.
  • Ensure alignment between company strategy, product initiatives, and measurable outcomes.
Operational Excellence
  • Own and continuously improve the product team’s operating system (processes, cadences, workflows).
  • Anticipate and remove operational blockers to maintain execution velocity.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions.
Project & Program Management
  • Monitor and track delivery of key product initiatives, ensuring they stay on time, within scope, and deliver impact.
  • Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to protect delivery timelines.
  • Standardise project success metrics and ensure accountability across teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as the connective tissue between Product, Engineering, Design, GTM, and Customer-facing teams.
  • Coordinate smooth product launches, ensuring readiness across all functions.
  • Facilitate structured feedback loops between customer-facing teams and product development.
Data, Insights & Reporting
  • Build and maintain dashboards to track product usage, customer feedback, and success metrics.
  • Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic prioritisation and resource allocation.
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for Product Managers and leadership.
Tooling & Knowledge Management
  • Manage the product tech stack (roadmapping, feedback, analytics, documentation).
  • Evaluate and implement new tools to improve efficiency and collaboration.
  • Maintain product documentation, playbooks, and onboarding resources.
Change & Communication Management
  • Create communication cadences to keep leadership, stakeholders, and teams aligned.
  • Tailor updates for different audiences — from executive summaries to detailed operational reporting.
  • Champion transparency and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
Scaling the Product Function
  • Build repeatable processes to support team growth and organisational scaling.
  • Design onboarding and training programs for new product team members.
  • Establish best practices for experimentation, discovery, and launch planning.
Qualifications & RequirementsHard Skills & Technical
  • Proficiency with product management and productivity tools (e.g., Jira, Productboard, Confluence, Tableau, Looker).
  • Strong analytical skills; able to interpret data, build dashboards, and translate insights into action.
  • Familiarity with SaaS metrics, success measures, and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field (MBA or advanced degree a plus).
Operations & Project Management
  • Proven experience in Product Operations, Program/Project Management, or Product Management.
  • Expertise in process design, workflow optimisation, and operational excellence.
  • Strong project management skills; able to scope, plan, and deliver complex initiatives on time.
  • Demonstrated success in managing OKRs, success metrics, and holding teams accountable.
Communication & Leadership
  • Exceptional communication skills; able to tailor messaging to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and drive alignment across Product, Engineering, and GTM.
  • Experienced in facilitating cross-functional collaboration and feedback loops.
