The Commbiz Fast Payments squad is part of the Real Time Payments & PaaS Crew, whose purpose is to develop market leading, innovative and safe & resilient real time payments and value-add propositions for our customers. Commbiz is our online banking portal for business customer of CBA.
The Commbiz Fast Payments squad focuses on providing near real time payments capabilities to our customers. You will work closely with multiple squads within and outside the Payments Domain as well as engaging and supporting business customers. The squad is also responsible for ensuring the service is designed as per regulatory requirements and Group policies.
Do work that matters:
You will Define and lead the vision and roadmap for the product, outlining ‘what’ needs to be delivered to achieve customer and business value. You will lead the end-to-end development of the product roadmap ensuring maximum output and quality from the squad. You'll use your expertise to support prioritisation and successful achievement of business and squad objectives, so we can build a service that provides a market leading customer experience in line with our strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
- Accountable for end-to-end value delivery and product lifecycle management
- Act as the voice of the customer and business and translate this for the squad.
- Apply expertise to support prioritisation, balance trade-offs, and explore strategies to successfully achieve business and customer outcomes.
- Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions and resolving escalations.
- Drive product exploration (e.g. using design thinking and analytics) and formulate hypotheses to validate product strategy / design.
- Ensure all obligations across customer, regulatory, internal policy and process frameworks (e.g. GDF, PDDP, RiC) are fully met and satisfied.
- Identify, articulate and manage risks, dependencies and compliance across streams of work e.g. customer propositions.
- Maintain a healthy and prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes.
- Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to.
- Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc.
- Role model continuous improvement and customer focus.
- Drive squad effectiveness and agile maturity i.e. sprint burn down, release burn up, and squad/team health in partnership with Agile Coaches and Performance Leads.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 7-10 years of proven Product Owner or BA experience. Ideally providing a service through digital channels, to both internal and external customers and/or within the Payments Domain.
- Prior experience as a Product Manager/Programme Manager/Project Manager in above initiative spaces would also be considered.
- Payments Domain experience and knowledge, DE and/or NPP ideal.
- Are experienced in developing a Product Vision and the Product Roadmap to implement it.
- Are strong communicators, both Verbal and Written, with proven experience managing multiple stakeholders (including senior LT).
- Experience with Agile methodology.
- Experience working within a mixed onshore /offshore squad would be ideal.
- Have experience managing Risks and Product Compliance and using formal documentation methods.
- Communicating and collaborating with BB/IB&M customers and customer relationship colleagues.
- Strategic and commercial experience desirable.
- Experience communicating with industry and regulatory bodies desirable.
