RBA are currently seeking a Technical Product Owner Lead for its Enterprise Strategy & Change department to be the voice of the internal customer. In conjunction with the Chief Product Owner, this role will provide direction and take ownership to ensure that stakeholders needs are met when products and/ or technology services are delivered by a project. By providing leadership to the delivery team in collaboration with project managers they will ensure value is delivered to meet the needs of the Business.
Key Objectives
Provide strategic direction and take a lead role in assisting senior stakeholders in articulating the product/service vision across one or many streams of work.
Own and manage multiple Product Backlogs to fit within the agreed schedule and priorities.
Work closely with the delivery teams to prioritise the Backlog, clarify requirements and validate quality of their deliverables.
Set the direction and focus for continuous improvement initiatives and take ownership, where appropriate.
Establish a culture of knowledge sharing and assist the team by answering questions that provide a deeper understanding of the requirements, processes, systems and system integration needs.
Understand business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that enable the business to achieve its goals while supporting compliance with related legislation, policies and standards.
Your background
Significant experience on complex/ large projects or programs taking responsibility to meet required business outcomes with excellent attention to detail.
Advanced knowledge of systems, databases, data modelling concepts and tools in both on-premise and cloud environments.
Ability to seek out and drive processes improvements.
Substantial experience working in Agile teams.
High agency with the ability to adapt to the delivery methodology to fit the environment.
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing skills and effectiveness in leading multiple Scrum teams or a team of Product Owners.
Experience in leading, developing, influencing and motivating team members where there is no direct reporting line relationship.
Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Advanced certifications in Scrum.
