The opportunity 

We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner who will drive digital delivery across multiple platforms and lead cross-functional agile teams to translate business goals and customer needs into user-focused solutions. This role is pivotal in shaping the vision for Business and Partner Systems, partnering with stakeholders, and ensuring successful execution of product roadmaps through agile teams. You’ll work closely with developers and technical leads to deliver enhancements and optimise digital assets, while fostering an agile culture.

Your new role 

As a Product Owner, your responsibilities include:

  • Define and own the product vision and requirements based on customer needs and business objectives.
  • Lead agile delivery teams to set strategic outcomes, manage the roadmap, and prioritize backlog items for maximum value.
  • Partner with stakeholders and technical leads across multiple platforms to deliver digital enhancements and solutions.
  • Develop and oversee implementation plans, including resource capacity planning and budget management.
  • Champion agile principles and foster collaboration across digital, innovation, marketing, and IT teams.
  • Communicate progress and insights effectively, using showcases, stand-ups, and visual boards to keep stakeholders informed.

About you

You will bring a powerful combination of strategic vision, leadership, and technical expertise to this role. Acting as the bridge between business objectives and digital delivery, you will translate customer insights into actionable solutions while guiding agile teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.

You will have:

  • Extensive experience as a Product Owner, able to hit the ground running in a complex, multi-platform environment.
  • Strong background in agile practices, particularly Scrum, with proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in developing, implementing, and managing digital technologies and functionalities.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable requirements.
  • Financial services or insurance industry experience is a plus.
