The Product Owner supports the Product team by prioritizing features, managing the backlog, and collaborating with teams to drive product initiatives.
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Product Owner to join our growing B2B SaaS team. In this role, you will support the Product team in prioritising, developing, and launching product features while gaining hands-on experience in product management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to help drive product initiatives that meet customer needs and align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Support in defining and maintaining the product roadmap by helping prioritise features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on customer feedback and business objectives.
- Help manage the product backlog by gathering, organising, and documenting user stories, defining requirements, and working closely with the development team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Work alongside design, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of product development. Communicate product requirements clearly and ensure all teams are aligned on deliverables.
- Assist in gathering customer feedback through surveys, user testing, and direct customer conversations. Ensure the product team is aligned on customer pain points and evolving needs.
- Support the tracking and analysis of product performance metrics, such as user engagement and retention, to help identify areas for improvement or new features.
- Help create and maintain clear and comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, requirements, release notes, and FAQs, ensuring clarity for all stakeholders.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, assisting the team with refining product features and ensuring that goals are met efficiently.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of product launches, including writing release notes, preparing internal teams, and ensuring the product is delivered on schedule.
About you:
- 1-2 years of experience in product management, project management, or a related role (preferably in a B2B SaaS environment).
- Strong communication skills – able to clearly convey product goals, requirements, and timelines to cross-functional teams.
- Experience with Agile – familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and working in fast-paced environments.
- Detail-oriented – able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Basic experience with product management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Confluence, etc.) is a plus.
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work well with different teams and contribute to a positive, productive environment.
- Passionate about learning and growing in the product management space, with a strong interest in SaaS products.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience, work on impactful projects, and contribute to the success of a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company. If you are driven, eager to learn, and ready to take on new challenges, we’d love to hear from you!
