Position Summary:

Role Responsibilities:
This role entails but is not limited to: -
- Safety promotion of employees and processes - PPE Auditing, LOTO, COSHH
- Job ability - quality sign off and building of competence and confidence of technical skills
- Leading Teams and delivering Tier 1 daily meetings, supporting escalation when required
- Problem solving and Kaizen - seeking root cause for downtime or quality issues using CI tools
- Deliver the Autonomous Maintenance schedule
- Human Relations - building and developing a high performing Team addressing T&A issues, Return to Work and recognition of high performing individuals
- Able to lead investigations, resolve grievances and monitor absenteeism and take appropriate action where needed
- Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements

Essential
- Proven Production leadership experience
- Experience of problem solving - 3C
- Use of 5S to improve production environment
- Group communication delivery
- Ability to carry out Risk Assessments
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft
- Able to create SWIs
- Use of KPI's to track performance
- Ability to carry out audits
Desirable:
- White belt trained
- IOSH Qualification
- Tier 1 automotive supply
- Familiar with CLAIR approach (Clean, Lubricate, Adjust, Inspect, Repair)
- Experience within castings sector
