The Program Change Manager is responsible for overseeing the seamless implementation of the Western Sydney International freight terminal and advancing the organisation’s Freight Digital Roadmap. This position delivers strategic leadership and comprehensive support for change initiatives, ensuring effective management of people impacts arising from the WSI terminal launch, as well as transformations in Digital Sales, Revenue Management, and Operations. The Program Change Manager works closely with stakeholders across Sales, Network, Operations, Technology, and other business units impacted by these key programs to facilitate organisational readiness and successful integration of changes. 

Core duties include formulating and executing innovative change management strategies, communication plans, and training solutions across multiple concurrent projects. The role is fundamentally focused on realising business and Freight-wide objectives through effective change enablement and the embedding of sustainable transformation throughout the enterprise. Key areas of accountability encompass leading organisation-wide change management processes and stakeholder engagement, collaborating with senior HR leaders and business owners on organisational design for new operating models, managing integrated program communications and training delivery, and contributing significantly to the design and deployment of next-generation freight operations. 

You’ll have:  

  • 10+ years' experience in change management or transformation roles 
  • Skilled in planning and delivering complex programs across multiple workstreams 
  • Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders at all levels 
  • Customer service and stakeholder management expertise 
  • Knowledge of freight, logistics, or aviation operations (airfreight cargo technology experience preferred) 
  • Advanced planning, analytics, and strategic problem-solving 
  • Self-driven, accurate, and detail-oriented 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation 
  • Performs well under pressure; adaptable to change 
  • Shows initiative, sound judgement, and influencing skills 
  • Dangerous goods awareness (preferred) 
  • Maintains discretion and confidentiality
