About The Role:

We're seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Health Program Coordinator to plan, implement and evaluate workplace health programs that help organisations improve the wellbeing of their workers. The role will also involve clinical service delivery within your scope of practice, so is the perfect combination of behind the scenes and client-facing activities. The Physical Health Program Coordinator is responsible for the planning, implementation and evaluation of workplace health programs for a set portfolio of clients. Programs may vary within the scope of what TELUS Health deliver, such as health checks, skin checks, health expos, ergonomic assessments, seminars, online classes and flu vaccinations. The employee is responsible for the end-to-end coordination of the programs, with the goal to improve the wellbeing of the workers at the organisations we support.

 

The Day-to-Day:

Program Planning & Implementation: Plan, coordinate and evaluate comprehensive workplace health programs including health checks, skin checks, health expos, ergonomic assessments, seminars, online classes and flu vaccinations for your assigned client portfolio.

 

Client Relationship Management: Provide recommendations on wellbeing initiatives that would support the health of your customer cohort, ensuring programs align with organisational objectives and employee needs.

 

Health Service Delivery: Utilise your professional background for the practical implementation of services, such as providing health checks, nutrition consultations or providing group training sessions, clinical development and content creation.

 

Risk Management & Referrals: Ensure follow-up of high-risk participants identified during service delivery and facilitate referrals into TELUS Health's mental health services where appropriate.

 

Team Support & Operations: Assist in the general operations of Physical Health within your office location, and provide training and support to more junior staff members or health professionals.

 

Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, ensuring all services meet quality standards and compliance requirements whilst maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.

 

About You:

You have experience in health program coordination or related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful workplace health initiatives. You bring exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently whilst staying connected to a collaborative team.

You have an eye for detail, strong project management skills, and a genuine passion for improving workplace health outcomes. You thrive in managing multiple programs simultaneously and have experience working with diverse client portfolios. We welcome applications from candidates with a background in Dietetics, Nutrition, Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, occupational health, nursing, or related fields.

You are results-oriented and proactive, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You have a passion for contributing to meaningful work that positively impacts workplace wellbeing and health outcomes.
