About the business/role/team
This is a unique opportunity for you to join the Reserve Bank’s payments team that owns and operates RITS, Australia's real-time gross settlement system, which moves around $230 billion dollars between financial institutions each day and ultimately settles all non-cash payments in Australia.
About the role
You will be one of the key leaders within the Payments Operations Program, leading technology related workstreams responsible for delivering improvements to technology controls, application lifecycle management, risk assessments and monitoring and workload management for applications that support RITS. In the Payments Operations Program, you will work with both business and IT departments, including executive staff, which manage RITS to promote the public interest by ensuring the reliable, safe and efficient functioning of critical national infrastructure, which is essential to support the day-to-day business of the Australian economy.
About you
- Must have extensive experience in managing technology projects
- Will have successfully overseen projects with multiple work streams in a complex environment.
- Needs to demonstrate the ability to develop and present executive-level reports to Executives.
- Must have a good understanding of technology controls and implementation strategies to uplift a technology eco-system.
- Should possess a deep understanding of enterprise-level infrastructure services and tooling, with a proven track record of delivering system improvements.
