We are looking for an autonomous, results-focused Program Manager to establish and lead a critical portfolio of optimisation initiatives across our entire group. You'll be instrumental in shaping the future efficiency and profitability of our store and venue operations.

Reporting to the Specialty and Support Optimisation Lead, you will be accountable for the end-to-end success of a strategic portfolio. Your primary focus will be on driving efficiency, reducing the cost of doing business, and delivering sustainable improvements that impact our bottom line.

The role centers on driving strategic business transformation and optimisation across the group. A primary responsibility is initiating and leading a complex portfolio of improvement initiatives, starting with the Discovery phase to identify high-value opportunities and build a robust project pipeline. This involves actively challenging existing processes and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to implement process changes and productivity models, ensuring the business achieves its performance and financial targets. The ultimate accountability is the management of projects to time, budget, and quality, leading to the sustainable realisation of defined business benefits.

Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, governance, and stakeholder management skills. Effectively manage competing demands, facilitate crucial inter-functional trade-offs, and maintain business confidence through transparent reporting. Furthermore, responsible for proactive risk management and the expeditious escalation of issues to ensure smooth program execution. 

  • Initiate, lead, and successfully deliver a portfolio of complex business improvement and optimisation initiatives across multiple business units and brands.
  • Lead the discovery phase to identify high-value opportunities and build a robust program pipeline.
  • Challenge existing processes and actively support the delivery of process change, collaborating with stakeholders to implement productivity models and achieve performance convergence targets.
  • Manage competing demands, facilitate critical inter-functional trade-offs, and maintain the confidence of business customers through transparent reporting and governance.
  • Accountable for managing projects to time, budget, and quality, ensuring the establishment and sustainable delivery of defined business benefits.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop supporting project team members and business partners on best practices, building a strong future capability pipeline.
  • Proactively identify, manage, and escalate risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure smooth program execution.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: 

  • 6+ years in a Project/Program Management role, with proven experience establishing and delivering transformational, business-orientated programs of work.
  • Deep knowledge and experience in delivering programs utilising both Agile and/or Waterfall Methodologies.
  • Current Project Management Certification (e.g., Prince 2 / PMP).
  • Exceptional planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills, with a track record of guiding others through complex issue resolution.
  • Minimum Graduate/Bachelor Degree and strong demonstrated coaching skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously while being collaborative and willing to travel interstate and within the state as required.
  • Please note: Must have or be willing to obtain current RSA & RCG certifications.

(Desirable):

  • Trained in Lean Six Sigma Methodology (Green or Black Belt).
  • Previous experience in the Hospitality or Gaming sectors.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership and influencing skills with good business acumen.
