About Us

Looking for a company that inspires passion, courage and imagination, where you can be part of the team shaping the future of global commerce? If you’re interested in joining a purpose driven community that is dedicated to creating an ambitious and inclusive workplace, join eBay – a company you can be proud to be a part of.

eBay Inc. is a global commerce leader that connects millions of buyers and sellers around the world. We exist to enable economic opportunity for individuals, entrepreneurs, businesses and organizations of all sizes.

About the team and role:

eBay is redefining the future of commerce with eBay Live, a dynamic, interactive livestream shopping experience that brings buyers and sellers together in real time. Through livestream, sellers can showcase products, build trust, and connect authentically with audiences. eBay Live is the next evolution of ecommerce, blending entertainment and shopping in a format that’s engaging, immediate, and community-driven. Join a fast-paced, innovative team as we bring this exciting live-shopping experience to Australia and shape the future of how people discover and purchase products online.

We’re looking for a Program Manager who thrives on turning complexity into systems. You’ll help scale eBay Live by designing the operational backbone that powers livestream commerce — across global markets, seller enablement, event execution, and cross-functional collaboration.

You’ll partner with product, marketing, customer support, trust, and category teams to turn ideas into repeatable, high-performing programs that support seller success and operational excellence.

What you will accomplish:

  • Lead strategic operations programs that improve scalability, compliance, and seller experience across global markets.

  • Create frameworks, documentation, and playbooks that strengthen consistency and speed of execution.

  • Partner with Product, Live Ops, and Legal to design and optimize cross-functional workflows and governance.

  • Monitor key metrics (activation rates, uptime, trust compliance, process SLAs) and translate insights into action.

  • Drive continuous improvement — turning learnings into scalable systems and templates.

  • Champion operational readiness for global expansion — helping define launch playbooks and localization standards.

What you will bring:

  • Bachelor's degree related field preferred.

  • 6+ years in program or operations management, ideally within e-commerce, media, or live commerce.

  • Proven success leading cross-functional programs at scale, balancing creativity with process rigor.

  • Exceptional communicator who can drive alignment across technical, operational, and business teams.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and rapid change — you bring structure where none exists.

  • Obsessed with systems, metrics, and documentation (if it’s not written down, it doesn’t exist).

  • Passionate about live experiences, creators, and the intersection of commerce and community.

If you're passionate about eCommerce and want to be part of eBay Live in eBay Australia, this is the role for you. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and an opportunity to work with a talented and dynamic team.
