Job Description

The Program Manager will lead the successful delivery of large-scale infrastructure programs within an integrated delivery partner model (or similar), working collaboratively with the client as part of a unified team. This role ensures alignment of program objectives with client priorities, driving performance, governance, and innovation to achieve exceptional outcomes on complex, high-profile projects.

Leadership

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight across all program components, ensuring delivery aligns with client objectives, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, reporting structures, and decision-making processes within the integrated team environment.

Client

  • Act as a trusted advisor and extension of the client’s leadership team, fostering a collaborative, transparent, and high-performance culture.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, contractors, and community representatives, ensuring proactive engagement and issue resolution.

Technical/Professional Expertise

  • Plan and manage full project lifecycle—including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring & control, and close-out.
  • Oversee planning, design, procurement, and delivery phases, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple workstreams and disciplines.
  • Drive program performance against schedule, cost, quality, and risk targets, implementing corrective actions where necessary.

Financial/Project Management

  • Own project financial performance—forecasting, billing, variations, and margin delivery.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification in project/program management, engineering, or related field.
  • 15+ years’ relevant experience delivering complex multi-disciplinary projects.
  • Extensive experience in program management for major infrastructure projects, ideally within integrated delivery partner (or similar) models.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in complex, high-profile environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen and understanding of contractual frameworks for collaborative delivery.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with experience managing government and public sector clients.
