Join nPlan - build the cities of the future

We’re nPlan - a fast-growing, Series B construction technology company backed by GV (Google Ventures) and Demis Hassabis, founder of DeepMind. We use advanced machine learning and one of the world’s largest datasets of construction schedules to help major infrastructure projects make better, earlier decisions.

Our work shapes how the biggest projects in the world are planned — and we do it without the constant site presence, unsociable hours, or reactive fire-fighting that typically comes with construction roles.

The Role

We’re hiring a Senior Client Manager to own and grow relationships with major infrastructure clients across Australia and the wider APAC region.

This is a senior, strategic, client-facing role focused on long-term account ownership, value delivery and expansion within existing clients, helping organisations adopt new, technology-enabled ways of planning and managing projects. Our existing clients in the region include major names such as Chevron, Singapore’s Land Transit Authority and Hong Kong’s Mass Transit Railway.

You’ll work remotely, with flexible hours, and occasional travel within the APAC region and internationally for key client or team meetings.

Why You’ll Love This Role
  • Excellent work–life balance — remote-first, flexible hours, and no site-based work.
  • Strategic ownership - lead relationships end-to-end, from adoption to expansion.
  • No on-site delivery pressure — focus on outcomes, insight, and change, not daily site issues.
  • Cutting-edge technology — be part of a company redefining how infrastructure is delivered globally.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead the adoption of nPlan with major infrastructure clients, and drive expansion, renewals and deeper engagement within existing client accounts.
  • Actively manage change in planning and decision-making processes.
  • Help clients use technology to improve forecasting, risk management, and confidence in delivery.
  • Work with senior project, planning, and executive stakeholders.
  • Ensure clients see clear, measurable value from nPlan, aligned to their strategic objectives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong construction credibility, gained through:
2+ years in project management, project controls, or construction management, or
3+ years in construction technology, infrastructure advisory or similar
  • Hands-on experience leading process change, not just being part of it
  • Exposure to technology-led transformation in a project or planning environment
  • Strong commercial awareness and comfort discussing value, scope and outcomes
  • Confident communicator who can influence and build trust with senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, proactive, and client-first
  • Please include the word “crane” in your application.
We care more about potential and drive than perfection. If you’re excited by what we’re building, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Get
  • Up to AUD$160k salary + variable bonus (up to AUD$40k).
  • 12% superannuation + generous equity.
  • Flexible hours, remote-first working.
  • Uncapped leave, learning budget, private medical insurance, enhanced family leave and more.
  • Room to grow - we’re approaching 50 people and scaling fast.
  • Guided by our values: Learn from Everything; Be Radically Truthful; Aim High, Run Fast.
Our Culture

We’re a curious, diverse, and mission-driven team united by a belief that better data can change how the world builds.
We value openness, honesty, and diversity of thought — and believe the best ideas win, no matter where they come from.

Expect openness, collaboration, and balance — plus plenty of social opportunities!

Application Process
  1. Once you’ve applied, you will hear from us within a week.
  2. Interview stages typically include:
    • A 30 minute intro chat
    • A role-specific interview or assignment
    • An interview focusing on our culture and values
    • A final stage to test collaboration with our team (on-site or remote)
  3. We aim to complete the process within 3–4 weeks but can move faster if necessary.

We want every candidate to have a positive experience — and we’ll keep you informed every step of the way.

Accessibility & Inclusion

We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

If you need adjustments during the hiring process, please let us know.
