How you will contribute
You will:
- Interface extensively with Consumer Marketing, Customer Development, Finance, RD&Q, Quality, and all functions within Supply Chain (Procurement, Manufacturing and Customer Service and Logistics), to deliver projects within the specified time, cost and quality parameters.
- Lead cross-functional teams in the development and implementation of a broad, coordinated set of projects to meet the revenue, volume, growth, productivity and quality goals and priorities within the category.
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, tasks and resource (people and cost) requirements
- Lead discussions with sites to work on corresponding actions to deliver commercial growth plans (e.g. capacity and capability additions)
- Support the co-ordination of business cases to deliver capability & capacity to sites.
- Support project teams to unlock project feasibility and/or sourcing solutions to deliver growth plans.
- Ensure that suitable risk assessment and contingency planning (for relevant projects) takes place, is communicated and agreed upon by all stakeholders and is acted on if necessary to keep the project on track or to accelerate the project if the business need exists.
- Drive consistency and quality in the execution of projects using the appropriate methodology and tools
- Provide project reporting and status updates through team meetings as well as through monthly gating forums
