The Role

We are currently seeking a Project Controller to join our rail team in North Sydney, to provide high quality project control activities on rail transport projects, relating to scope, cost and time management, contract management and administration.

Key accountabilities include:

  • Ensuring that planning, reporting, project controlling, scheduling and resource planning undertaken meets appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the clients and SMEC
  • Preparing accurate reports and project metrics
  • Applying risk management and contingency planning
  • Managing project deliverables
  • Collaborating with team members, contributors and stakeholders to maintain quality, timeliness and co-ordination of project deliverables
  • Contributing to the commercial success of projects and the team

About You

  • 5+ years project controls experience working on transport infrastructure projects
  • Proven experience of managing multiple projects at one given time
  • High level consulting and client management skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with experience using basic formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets.
  • Strong administration and organisational skills with high attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience in Primavera P6 (desired)
  • Experience with Power BI report development (desired)
