The Role
We are seeking a highly proficient Project Engineer to join our Manufacturing team at Old Toongabbie. This position presents a distinctive chance to contribute to small-medium sized CAPEX projects with a focus on equipment and automation, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery, while working closely with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to drive project success.
This is a 24 months fixed term role based at the Baxter Toongabbie Plant.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead small to medium-scale CAPEX projects (around $0.5 to $10m USD annually) on machinery and procedures
Establish and manage project timelines, financial allocations, and resource frameworks to secure timely and cost-efficient delivery
Collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
Offer technical advice and assistance to project teams regarding equipment and processes
Work together with engineering teams to develop and implement process enhancements
Formulate and sustain technical documentation, covering design specifications, operational procedures, and maintenance instructions
Share project updates, progress, and challenges with project collaborators, including senior management, operations teams, and external participants
Establish and nurture connections with project collaborators to guarantee project success and discover areas for enhancement
Formulate and carry out improvements to processes, covering the development and deployment of new equipment and procedures
Guarantee that all projects are finished in accordance with regulatory standards, encompassing cGMP and ISO 9001
Work together with quality teams to guarantee that all projects adhere to quality standards and requirements.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability in project management, engineering, or a related industry, emphasizing equipment and procedures
Proficiency in leading CAPEX undertakings, covering budget management, scheduling, and resource coordination
Skilled in project management, involving budget control, scheduling, and resource planning
Proficiency in packing machinery and procedures, encompassing design, functionality, and upkeep
Excellent communication and collaborator coordination skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
