The opportunity

We’re seeking an experienced Project Finance Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in supporting our Value Streams to deliver high-value initiatives. This role offers extensive stakeholder engagement, from senior leadership to project teams, and serves as the key liaison between Finance and Value Stream stakeholders while managing financials and facilitating decision-making in an agile environment.

Your new role

As a Project Finance Analyst, you will be the main liaison between Finance and Value Stream teams, ensuring financial management and decision-making run smoothly. We’re seeking someone with experience in Change and Delivery, who can adapt quickly and contribute to an agile working environment.

  • Partner with Release Train Engineers and stakeholders to develop and manage accurate project budgets.

  • Monitor actual spend, identifying variances and their drivers.

  • Collaborate to address financial issues and optimize resource allocation.

  • Develop and update financial forecasts based on project progress and scope changes.

  • Identify and communicate potential financial risks and opportunities.

  • Provide analysis of cost drivers and opportunities for cost management.

  • Prepare and present financial reports on performance, risks, and opportunities.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to provide timely financial data.

  • Oversee purchase orders and manage accruals within budget.

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies and act as a liaison for finance matters.

About you

  • Project Finance professional with (or working towards) CA/CPA qualifications and experience in a PMO or Delivery environment, ideally in Financial Services.

  • Strong technical skills in building and maintaining complex financial models with integrity.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, gathering and analysing data to provide quality financial support.

  • Proven experience managing multiple stakeholders, with a detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable approach.

  • Experience in Agile environments, with proficiency in Excel and SharePoint; familiarity with Atlassian tools is ideal.

  • Background in Change and Delivery, with the ability to adapt quickly and drive success at the project, program, or portfolio level.
