This position is based in Brisbane and reports to the MQ-28 Program Integration Office.

To meet Defence security requirements you must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to maintain an Australian AGSVA security clearance. You may require a Foreign Work Authorisation (FWA) under Department of Defence rules introduced in 2024. This requirement is set by the Department of Defence - please refer to their website for guidance.

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is recruiting a Project Management Specialist to support the MQ-28 Program.
This position is based in Brisbane and reports to the MQ-28 Program Integration Office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple Tier 2 projects to ensure the MQ-28 program meets schedule and budget targets.
- Create and maintain MQ-28 project execution plans and schedules.
- Coordinate across MQ-28 project pillars and functional support to confirm assigned projects are executable.
- Support the PMO lead with reporting aligned to the MQ-28 operating rhythm.
- Assist the PIO with project execution, including subcontract management and coordination.
- Facilitate regular meetings to communicate scope, timelines, and expectations to team members and stakeholders to enable informed decision-making.
- Partner with PIO leadership and customers to achieve program objectives.
Experience and Qualifications
- Prior Defence and/or aviation technical experience advantageous.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to connect stakeholders across the organisation and promote effective collaboration.
- Strong organisational ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities while meeting deadlines.
- Collaborative, energetic, and creative thinker who embraces innovative solutions.
- Proven competence across all project management disciplines, aligned with industry-standard practices.
- Formal qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or Business preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Must be an Australian citizen and hold, or be able to obtain, an appropriate security clearance.
