Job Description

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Project / Program Management professionals to support current and upcoming opportunities across Western Australia's Defence and Defence Industry sectors.

We are particularly interested in connecting with professionals who have delivered within the Department of Defence, Defence Primes, shipbuilders, sustainment providers and / or within major Defence infrastructure programs.

Opportunities may involve the delivery of naval shipbuilding, maritime sustainment, Defence infrastructure, capital works and capability-related projects supporting Australia's sovereign Defence capability.

Candidates with strong stakeholder engagement skills, proven project delivery experience, and an understanding of Defence governance environments are encouraged to apply. This is an opportunity to contribute to some of Australia's most significant Defence programs while working alongside leading Defence organisations and industry partners.

Qualifications

- Degree qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, Commerce or a related discipline.
- Formal project management certification such as: PMP, PRINCE2 Practitioner. AIPM CPPM or RegPM (or equivalent recognised project delivery qualification)
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance.

Essential Experience
- Demonstrated above-the-line experience in supporting the Department of Defence within Service Headquarters, the Naval Shipbuilding and Sustainment Group, Capability Acquisition and Sustainment Group or Security and Estate Group across maritime and / or infrastructure initiatives
And / or
- Demonstrated experience working within Defence shipbuilding primes and / or sustainment providers
And / or
- Demonstrated experience within prime infrastructure builders and / or firms providing project management and contract administration delivering Defence infrastructure
