About the Role
We're looking for a Project Manager to join our Digital Consulting team and manage the end-to-end project lifecycles for cloud-based HCM platforms including Oracle HCM Cloud, Dayforce (Ceridian), SuccessFactors, and related workforce management solutions.
Key Responsibilities inlcude:Project Delivery & Governance- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of HCM implementation and optimisation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, and steering committee packs.
- Manage project budgets, resource plans, and vendor relationships across concurrent workstreams.
- Establish and maintain project governance frameworks aligned with organisational standards and industry best practice.
- Act as the primary point of contact between delivery teams, business stakeholders, and technology vendors.
- Facilitate workshops, requirements gathering sessions, and design reviews with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams.
- Provide clear, concise reporting to project sponsors and steering committees on progress, risks, and decisions required.
- Apply working knowledge of HCM business processes including core HR, payroll, workforce management, recruitment, onboarding, learning, and talent management.
- Contribute to solution design discussions and challenge vendor recommendations where appropriate, drawing on prior implementation experience.
- Support change management and user adoption activities, working collaboratively with organisational change leads.
- Coordinate and motivate cross-functional project teams comprising internal staff, contractors, and vendor consultants.
- Mentor other consultants within the team.
- Foster a collaborative, transparent team culture focused on outcomes and continuous improvement.
About You
Our ideal candidate has 5 years’ of experience in project management, with at least 2–3 years focused on HCM or HRIS system implementations ideally from a professional services, consulting, or systems integration environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects on one or more of the following platforms: Oracle HCM Cloud, Dayforce (Ceridian), SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, or equivalent enterprise HCM solutions.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end HCM processes including payroll, time and attendance, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Familiarity with Australian payroll and employment legislation (e.g. Modern Awards, Single Touch Payroll).
- Exposure to data migration, integration design, and testing methodologies in an HCM context.
- Experience with Agile and hybrid delivery frameworks.
- Knowledge of change management frameworks
