Expo Centric is looking for a skilled Project Manager to join our Operations and Project Delivery team. This role is ideal for someone who excels in onsite project delivery, loves problem‑solving, and can confidently lead teams, clients, and contractors through high‑stakes exhibition builds and events.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead end‑to‑end planning and onsite delivery of exhibition and event projects.
  • Interpret and action WHS requirements including SWMS, risk assessments, permits, and site inductions.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and ensure contractor WHS documentation is complete.
  • Coordinate schedules, logistics, fabrication, transport, installation, and dismantle.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers, Designers, Warehouse, and external contractors.
  • Liaise with venue operators, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage budgets, variations, quotes, supplier invoices, and cost reporting.
  • Provide post‑event debriefs including lessons learned and improvement recommendations.
  • Support the Installation Manager duties through 2026 as part of operational handover.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years’ experience in exhibitions, events, construction, staging, or related industries.
  • Strong WHS understanding and demonstrated onsite leadership.
  • Ability to manage contractors, build schedules, and multi‑task in time‑critical environments.
  • Skilled in stakeholder communication and client management.
  • Ability to read construction drawings, plans, and floor layouts.
  • Proactive problem‑solver with strong judgement and adaptability onsite.

Desirable:

  • High Risk Work licences
  • First Aid/CPR
  • White Card
