Position Purpose: The Corporate Quality Improvement Project Manager II is an enterprise-level team member responsible to plan, organize, monitor, oversee and manage multiple results-based projects involving cross-functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet company strategic objectives. This corporate role directly supports markets across the enterprise, encompassing a broader scope of work and responsibility beyond the individual market-level functions.
Manage the development, modification, implementation, and coordination of systems, processes, and teams to meet all accreditation and certification requirements.
Works cross-functionally to assist and support the accreditation process for ensuring corporate and all applicable Centene markets and specialty companies.
Develops and participates in presentations and consulting to business partners on accreditation requirements, activities, and results.
Manage and implement appropriate work tools, processes, reports, and audit tools to ensure control of key processes and project characteristics.
Understand and demonstrate proficiency with quality monitoring activities and accreditation requirements, and policies/procedures to meet the targeted review objectives.
Manage gaps identifying risks and assist with corrective actions to ensure continuing compliance with standards.
Serve as a resource lead in response to any new or existing measures requiring significant technical /business workflow changes or guidance.
Support the data review process to ensure accuracy and integrity of data reports meet regulatory and operational requirements.
Analyze data and develop presentations and materials for committee and articles for newsletters and other educational pieces.
Analyze data and synthesize information to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to cross-functional business partners and key stakeholders in a structured, easy-to-understand manner to ensure compliance with NCQA Quality Accreditation Standards, and other regulatory bodies.
Utilize corporate and industry standard project management tools and techniques to effectively manage projects.
Assist with establishment and maintenance of corporate project management methodology and other department procedures.
Maintain detailed project documentation including meeting minutes, action items, issues lists, and risk management plans.
Effectively communicate project status to all stakeholders.
Negotiate with project stakeholders to identify resources, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
Coordinate cross-functional meetings with various functional areas to meet overall stakeholder expectations and company's objectives.
Provide functional and technical knowledge across multiple business and technical areas.
Monitor or create project deliverables to ensure adherence to quality standards, such as workplans, work instruction documents or quick reference guides, policies and procedures, operations materials such as documented processes, and more.
Create and communicate project milestone documents, dashboards, ROI tables, and departmental success metrics.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
3+ years of project management experience. Experience working with and leading diverse groups and matrix managed environments.
Proficient with project management tools, MS-Project or other project management software, and MS-Office applications. Healthcare experience preferred.
Familiarity or experience with NCQA accreditation products preferred.
Managed Care experience preferred.
License/Certification: PMP or CAPM certification preferred.

Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include additional forms of incentives.
