At Marsh McLennan, we are committed to delivering innovative solutions that drive success for our clients. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team and oversee our project financial operations, ensuring alignment with our organizational objectives.

The Project Manager will play a critical role in the Global Program Team for the Placement and Policy Management initiative as part of our Global Transformation delivery. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in various project delivery environments, holding a mid/senior Project Manager analyst/lead role. The role holder should understand the link between project KPIs and deployments with the financial costs and benefits of the project, enabling them to prepare detailed project budgets and financial forecasts.

We will count on you to:

  • Support the management of complex projects/programs from end-to-end to deliver business outcomes, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement standards, methods, tools, and templates for project management, execution, and reporting.
  • Drive compliance with the Planview portfolio management tool.
  • Conduct regular project/program assessments through toll gate reviews and health checks.
  • Actively manage program risks and issues, ensuring that Lessons Learned are shared and recommendations are implemented.
  • Manage governance councils, including scheduling, pack production, action items, minute-taking, and decision-making.
  • Drive the adoption and continuous improvement of the Portfolio Project Management application.
  • Regularly review and assess priorities, milestones, and the achievement of objectives within the strategic plan.
  • Monitor project expenses and control the budget to maintain financial health.
  • Analyse project profitability and financial performance, providing financial reports and recommendations to managerial staff.
  • Develop long-term strategic plans and objectives involving finance and the Program Management Office.
  • Coordinate with key functional groups such as Technology, Operations, Business, and Finance.

What you need to have:

  • Proven experience in project financial management.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, PlanView, ProjectPlace, JIRA, and ADO is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills.
