The Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled Project Manager to join our Managed Fund Claims Business to oversee the successful execution of a complex, high-impact project. This pivotal role requires strong leadership to define, document, and complete projects with dependencies, all while ensuring efficient resource management, cost control, and stakeholder satisfaction.
The role will also include managing partnerships, complex workstreams and initiatives, supporting the delivery of program services across the business, and driving operational improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute project frameworks to achieve project outcomes and deliverables.

Monitor and report on project performance metrics to ensure alignment with project schedules, budgets, and business goals.

Manage the planning process for assigned projects or programs

Monitor and follow up on deliverables and actions assigned to workstream owners.

Address stakeholder concerns with transparency, empathy, and professionalism.
-
Identify and mitigate risks associated with negative change impacts.
-
Collaborate with Communication, Marketing, and Sponsorship teams to develop and implement strategies that build awareness internally and externally.

Coach and influence internal stakeholders, regional representatives, and senior leaders to execute the business unit strategy effectively.

Build and manage strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to drive successful outcomes.

Ensure that all external partnerships align with QBE's purpose, vision, strategy, and values.

About You:
- Experienced project management professional with strong leadership skills and project execution expertise.

Proven track record of delivering results in complex and sensitive project s.

Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively while supporting teams through periods of disruption.

Tertiary Degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience.
-
Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Information Management, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.

Ability to influence stakeholders and drive projects forward in a dynamic environment.
