About the Role
As a Project Manager within our Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO), you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of high-impact projects that drive operational improvement and strategic alignment.
Your primary focus will be on managing project risk, quality, and progress to meet organisational standards and deadlines while delivering in accordance with defined standards. In this role, you will serve as a trusted business partner for key Service Lines, leveraging insights to identify and support business improvement initiatives.
This position is available on a max-term basis until July 2026.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Delivery: Manage the full life cycle of projects, ensuring that projects meet required outcomes and align with business objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project outcomes, transforming requirements into plans, managing expectations, and delivering results effectively.
Team Leadership: Lead small project teams, including coordination with consultants and vendors, to achieve defined project outcomes.
Contract Management: Develop, negotiate, and oversee contracts or project agreements to facilitate successful project delivery.
Risk & Quality Management: Proactively manage project risks, applying BDO’s risk management framework to maintain quality and project integrity.
Cost & Schedule Management: Develop and implement strategies to control costs, adhere to schedules, and maintain project scope and work quality.
Change Management: Identify and implement necessary change management strategies to meet evolving project objectives.
Progress Reporting: Regularly updates on project progress, including detailed metrics for schedule, cost, and risk management.
Methodology Application: Apply relevant project management methodologies, ensuring structured and efficient project execution.
About You
Relevant project management certifications, with proven project management experience in complex environments.
Experience leading small project teams
Knowledge of relevant project management methodologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders
Experience with identifying and implementing change management strategies
The ability to prepare detailed and informative reports on project progress
